By accessing, using or registering on, our Site, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use (“Terms”) as well as the Privacy Policy available on the Site and you agree to comply with them.

3. Prohibition of use
3.1 Restricted Jurisdictions
By accessing the Site and using WhastOnChain's services, you acknowledge and declare that you are not, and are not located in any jurisdiction that is, on any sanctions list, including but not limited to the United Nations Security Council, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN), Canadian, Cayman Islands, European Union, United Kingdom and Swiss sanctions lists. WhastOnChain maintains the right to select markets and jurisdictions that it accepts customers from and to restrict or deny the services to persons and entities located in certain jurisdictions.
3.2 No illegal, Harmful, or Offensive Use or Content
You may not use, or encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to use, the services or Site for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, infringing or offensive use, or to transmit, store, display, distribute or otherwise make available content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, infringing or offensive.
Prohibited activities or content include:
- Illegal, Harmful or Fraudulent Activities. Any activities that are illegal, that violate the rights of others, or that may be harmful to others, our operations or reputation, including disseminating, promoting or facilitating child pornography, offering or disseminating fraudulent goods, services, schemes, or promotions, make-money-fast schemes, ponzi and pyramid schemes, phishing, or pharming.
- Infringing Content. Content that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
- Offensive Content. Content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
- Harmful Content. Content or other computer technology that may damage, interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate any system, program, or data.
3.3 No Security Violations
You may not use the services or the Site to violate the security or integrity of any network, computer or communications system, software application, or network or computing device (each, a “System”). Prohibited activities include:
- Unauthorized Access. Accessing or using any System without permission, including attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a System or to breach any security or authentication measures used by a System.
- Interception. Monitoring of data or traffic on a System without permission.
- Falsification of Origin. Forging TCP-IP packet headers, e-mail headers, or any part of a message describing its origin or route. The legitimate use of aliases and anonymous remailers is not prohibited by this provision.
- No Network Abuse. You may not make network connections to any users, hosts, or networks unless you have permission to communicate with them.
Prohibited activities include:
- Monitoring or Crawling. Monitoring or crawling of a System that impairs or disrupts the System being monitored or crawled.
- Denial of Service (DoS). Inundating a target with communications requests so the target either cannot respond to legitimate traffic or responds so slowly that it becomes ineffective.
- Intentional Interference. Interfering with the proper functioning of any System, including any deliberate attempt to overload a system by mail bombing, news bombing, broadcast attacks, or flooding techniques.
- Operation of Certain Network Services. Operating network services like open proxies, open mail relays, or open recursive domain name servers.
- Avoiding System Restrictions. Using manual or electronic means to avoid any use limitations placed on a System, such as access and storage restrictions.
By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under relevant laws and such breaches will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
4. Use of the Site
To be able to offer you WhatsOnChain's services and let you register to use these services there are certain laws and regulations that must be complied with. These relate to but are not limited to anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations (ABC), national and supra-nation sanctions regulations, anti-money laundering compliance (AML), counterterrorism regulations, proliferation financing regulations, taxation laws, data protection laws, and privacy laws.
Consequently, there are certain checks WhatsOnChain may need to carry out and there is information you need to provide before using WhatsOnChain's services. Compliance is integral to the principles WhatsOnChain adheres to.
Appropriate Use
When using the Site, you represent and warrant that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Using material on our Site
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws, trademark laws and patent laws and all such rights are reserved. 5. Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) regulations
WhatsOnChain protects itself from involvement in any activity that facilitates money laundering or other criminal activities by following relevant international and locally applicable laws and regulations. WhatsOnChain is required to conduct all necessary checks according to the applicable AML and counter-terrorism regulations applicable to its Services. WhatsOnChain may thus require you to provide further documentation during the business relationship, for instance, to establish the source of the funds used in a particular transaction, and the origin of wealth.
You acknowledge and declare that all funds come from a legitimate source and are not derived from illegal activities. WhatsOnChain maintains a stance of cooperation with law enforcement authorities globally.
