Will keep monitoring. This week I focused on hunger signs and eating when hungry and not eating when not hungry. I've decided to only eat if I'm REALLY hungry, and if it's slight hunger feelings, to ignore. There were a couple of days this week where I couldn't ignore the hunger at lunch time, so I ate. I purchased a LotusGrill hoping that it would improve the flavour of my steaks, but to be honest I'm a bit disappointed with it. The steak doesn't have a barbecue flavour at all. Next week I'll try it with a lid on and see if that improves things. My weight stayed constant this week but my waist line shrunk a bit more and so did the body fat %. Seems that I might be converting fat into muscle! Incredible. However, it lacks the barbecue taste because it's pretty much smokeless. I have ordered a 34cm glass saucepan lid, and some hickory for next time, so hopefully will get a better flavour. Not bad, not smoky though. I had so much energy that I planted out 8 packets of spring bulbs, dug a long border, edged all the lawn with a spade, cleared and dug over my greenhouse. Boundless energy. I didn't eat anything all day until about 7pm. In the morning I put on a beef brisket on the slow cooker. Fat/protein ratio is way off in this meal. I had some belly pork in the freezer so defrosted that over 24 hours in the fridge and roasted it in the oven for half an hour and had it with some hot pepper smoked mackerel fillets.
